PUNK-ROCK. This is the re-issue of UPROAR’s classic album from 1983. „and the lord said…“ is their 14 track debut album. Whatever you would expect from a punk album released in ’83 can probably be found in spades on this particular album. Musically, it’s pretty obvious that anyone who’s heard a punk record in his/her life knows pretty much what to expect here. It’s like a postcard for the genre: fast, abrasive, rough as hell and yet still thoroughly catchy. UNPROAR is an underrated UK punk-rock band. If you like your ONE WAY SYSTEM, G.B.H. and EXPLOITED records, you should buy this excellent album.
